The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is the third largest English school board of the Province of Québec. Its territory comprises the administrative regions of Laval, Lanaudière, and theLaurentides, spanning over 35 000 square kilometers. The student population is over 15 000 students, attending classes in 26 elementary schools and 10 secondary schools.
Any elector who, as of August 30, 2007 preceeding polling day, does not have a child
admitted to the educational services provided by one of the following school boards: Sir
Wilfrid Laurier, des Affluents, des Laurentides, de Laval, Pierre-Neveu, de la Rivière-du-
Nord, des Samares, and de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Îles; may choose to exercise his
or her right to vote in either the English or the French language school board
